Southeast Missouri University has an organization called Black Light. This organization focuses on the needs and well-being of other minority students on River Campus. Our organization got the opportunity to perform music that were performed by a person of color, original pieces, poems that hold value to them, and list continues. I chose to sing a song by an inspiring artist named H.E.R. She is very encouraging music and is musical inclined.
